A few days ago I decided to let Adele try painting. I "taught" her how to use the brush just with water and surprisingly she did a much better job of keeping the paint on the paper than my students do! She did try to eat the purple paint, but I'm pretty sure that was because I was drinking purple gatorade (which she had sampled and loved) and she noticed that the color of her paint on the paper was about the same as the color of my drink. She quickly learned that it did not taste the same!
