One day before her 11-month birthday, Anna had her first "sick baby" visit. She's had a very green and runny nose for a long time now, and I decided it was time to take her in. We dropped Adele off at school and Anna and I went to the doctor.
As we walked in the door, her nurse was calling another patient. She looked at me, and in a confused voice asked, "Wait, is that Adele?" Um...no, this is my other child. The one who you only see for well baby visits, whom you obviously don't even remember exists. Her name is Anna and she had been perfectly healthy until this point, thankyouverymuch.
So...she's on her first round of antibiotics, and now I get to watch for an allergic reaction. Fun stuff.
