Yes, we're still here....

It's been SO long since I last blogged, I'm not sure that I remember how!

Here are some pictures from two weekends ago, I forgot to write about bowling with Jill and Jason. Adele was adorable! She was in a good mood through two games of bowling, and made it almost all the way through dinner before getting fussy. (She would have made it all the way through dinner if our waitress had been "on task" more!) Here she is sampling a lemon for Jill and Jason...what a goofy girl!

This past week, Adele has been busier than ever! She is still working on crawling (She crawled 3 "steps" on Sunday, but that's about as far as she goes before "bellyflopping"), but she wants to stand up and "cruise" all of the time! She still prefers to "pull up" on mommy or daddy, but has even pulled to standing inside of her pack 'n' play! One of her new favorite toys is my big pink water bottle:One night last week she was so silly with her paci. She had the "wrong end" stuck in her mouth and made funny faces for daddy. Silly, silly, silly! She won't sit still for diaper changes anymore, and every chance she gets, she dumps out the diapers and tries to eat them.

This weekend was Grandpa's 60th birthday and we went up on Saturday for his surprise party. Here she is with cousin James, what big kids they are growing up to be! She wasn't so thrilled about the lemon this time. I'm sure this will be used as backmail someday! Adele loaned James her stroller and blanket so he could take a nap while Grandpa opened his presents.

Aunt Laura wanted to give Adele a "biter biscuit" to see how messy she could get. I'd say she did pretty well for herself!
Saturday night, (after Grandpa's party) we left Adele with Grandma, Grandpa and cousin James while we went out with Tim, Laura and Greg. Adele did pretty well for Grandma and Grandpa. I tried, but couldn't get her to sleep before we left. (She took a REALLY late afternoon nap, and just wasn't ready to sleep yet) but Grandma got her down without too much of a problem after some hard core playing!

Adele had so much fun playing with James' push toys that we decided to buy one for her when we got home. We got her a train that she can push for now, and will be able to ride on later. Here she is looking so proud of herself!

Who is this little girl who was so tiny a few short months ago? Don't you think she looks a lot like aunt Jenny in that last picture? And her hair is getting so long in the front! What an adorable niece.
